ASL Day Twenty-Two Photos

Last day of the shoot!

Director of Photography Ryan Walters sets up for a POV shot with James Sullivan as "Stranger".

Ryan Walters gets creative.

Deanna Gilbert doubles as the dog wrangler for "Buster" while the Humane Society representative (background) keeps him safe from Tyler Stephens.

What a better cameo for an Assistant Director than a golf club wielding neighbor who helps scare off a would-be abductor. Talk about type-casting.

James Sullivan and Buster.

Crew sets up the next shot on the banks of the Willamette River.

The bad kids hang by the river.

The bad kids call it a wrap (L to R): Jaimie Brown, Kelsey Jensen, Teresa Decher, Robert Calkins, Teirra Valentine, Aaron Larsen, Mary Nelson.

Ales Teraghi as "Jordan".
Director Devon Lyon thanks crew for all their hard work on ASL over the past 22 days.

Kirk Mouser as "John Doe" and Mary Nelson as "Jada".

"Jada" leaves the vacant house.

Moira Morel and Ryan Walters set up the dolly shot.

"John Doe" surfs the internet.

Lighting a night scene takes a lot of light!

Crew lights Kirk Mouser for his close-up.

More creative lighting techniques from the ASL crew!

ASL Day Twenty Photos

Andrea White as "Stephanie" talks to "Lisa" at her apartment door.

"Julian" comes to pick-up "Libby" from "Stephanie."

Director Devon Lyon gives Andrea White instructions for her scene.

ASL Day Nineteen Photos

By Day 19 we'd thought we'd heard every possible noise disrupt the shoot...until the paving crew pulled up a mere 50 feet from the apartment we were shooting in.

Director Devon Lyon gives Spencer Conway his specific mark for his scene with Katie O'Grady.

Katie Atikinson applies make-up to "Libby" to cut down on her sheen.

Katie O'Grady as "Lisa".

A Tyler Stephens soundman first: the baby doll noggin' mic.

The caption possibilities for this photo are endless, here are several, feel free to craft your own:

1. Director Devon Lyon learns what happens when you hire an actor with improv training.
2. Spencer Conway takes the scene in an unexpected direction.
3. Er, Spencer, we're not filming THAT movie.

Warning: Do not mix crew with props. Another "Make Your Own Caption" moment.

An anxious "Lisa" waits for "Julian" to get off the computer as she comforts "Libby".

Crew sets up the final shot of the day.

Re-Post: ASL Call Sheets Days 12-22

Here is the link to the final batch of call sheets covering days 12-22:

ASL Day Eighteen Photos

Day 18 was all about "Mitch", played by Dwight Slade. We covered all of his story lines and Dwight did a great job. So did the three women with which he shared the screen!

"Mitch" sneaks out and takes some cash on his way. "Apartment Chick", Sarah Delamarter, sleeps through the whole thing.

Dwight Slade and Sarah Delamarter. Sarah delivered a great performance in a second, emotional scene.

Director of Photography Ryan Walters plans the next shot.

"Mitch" and "Pretty Young Thing", Megan Keller.

In the late afternoon we shifted to the "Cozzzy Inn"...no that isn't a typo!

Director Devon Lyon walks Katie O'Grady ("Lisa") through the next shot.

"Lisa" meets "Mitch" at the hotel.

"Lisa" and "Mitch" party it up.

ASL Day Seventeen Photos

Crew prepares for the first shot of the day.

"Cathy" drops "Jada" and "Beth" at youth group.

Director Devon Lyon says goodbye to Leanne Littrell following her final scene of her final day on set. Leanne did an outstanding job as "Cathy", bringing the character to life!

"Andy" prepares to meet "Derek" at the door.

Gavin Bristol spent his final day on the set. The crew enjoyed Gavin's time on set and he was the perfect "Andy".

Collin Crowley, "Derek", also spent his last day on set. Collin was one of the actors who had the most days on set and was great as "Derek".

"Andy" talks to the youth group.

The youth group extras...what a motley looking crew, huh?

Preparing for the final shot of the day, the never ending dolly shot...
